Barça pull off historic comeback against PSG in Champions League

Barça win 6-5 on aggregate after stunning 6-1 victory at the Camp Nou

Xavi's side produce one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the competition

Barcelona produced one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the Champions League on Wednesday night as they beat Paris Saint-Germain 6-5 on aggregate to reach the semi-finals.

After losing 4-0 in the first leg in Paris, Barça needed to score at least five goals at the Camp Nou to have any chance of progressing.

And they did it in style, with a stunning 6-1 victory that will live long in the memory of their fans.

Neymar opened the scoring for PSG in the 18th minute, but Barça hit back through Luis Suarez just five minutes later.

Lionel Messi then put Barça ahead on aggregate in the 32nd minute, and further goals from Andrés Iniesta and Gerard Piqué gave them a 4-1 lead at half-time.

PSG pulled one back through Edinson Cavani in the 62nd minute, but Sergi Roberto's goal in the 95th minute sealed a famous victory for Barça.

It was a truly remarkable night for Barça, who showed incredible character and determination to overturn such a huge deficit.

They will now face either Juventus or Real Madrid in the semi-finals, and they will be confident of going all the way and winning the competition for the sixth time.
